Pathos: An appeal to your emotions. For example, ads that make you feel happiness, fear or guilt. Sometimes they use cheesy humour, or 'the cute factor' to sell their product.
Logos: An appeal to logic and reason. For example, ads that contain statistics or scientific facts.
Ethos: An appeal to credibility or character. For example, ads that have 'experts' or celebrities recommending their product.
