On Friday we had Jennifer Sommerville come into the class and talk about the stories she has written. The class then shared some of their stories with Jennifer.
Some great writing from the SUPER KIWIS! Focus: Sequencing our writing and adding interesting words. Dad had a devlish smile on his face..then..KABOOM the old cowshed got demolished in to hundreds of pieces in just one explosion. Aedan Kelly Suddenly.. KABOOM.. the milking shed exploded. The kids saw the explosion and ran down the hill. All they saw were the ashes of the milking shed. Connor Wyatt Dad didn’t need the old milking shed any more. He was going to blow it up. KABOOM! Went the old, white milking shed. The children ran down to see what happened. Annabel 3,2,1…KABOOM! The old shed got incinerated.There was nothing left but all the rubble. The kids sprinted down the hill to look at the incinerated cow shed. The explosion was so big it blew the grass off the hill. Once, where the cowshed was, is now a collosal crater. Matthew Johnston Suddenly..KABOOM! ..the shed exploded. A big shockwave came straight through the ground and the kids rolled down the shaking hill. All the plastic from the bags and the water went all on Dad and he got soaking wet. Andre Wood The gelignite gets ingnited..KABOOM ! There is an enormous shockwave. The hay from the paddock shoots up into my mouth. When the dust clears I can see a big crater. All of a sudden the roof crashes back to the ground. Marcus The Old Truck By Liam One day there was an old green, rusty truck. It had been living in the old shed. It loved going on the roads and going into paddocks on the farm to get the milk to drink. It was slow and it would break down all the time. Birds made nests in it and it was always dusty. Sometimes it backfired!
The Old Cow Once there was a cow. He was a nice cow but he was a bit naughty. Fred the farmer did not like the cow because he was fat and the freezer was empty. Mum had something up her sleeve. She went inside and got the phone and rang the butcher….. Eden
